Beyond Fraser's Hill are some exciting destinations to visit - Kuala Kubu Bharu is a small pastoral town at the base of the highlands that offers charming scenery. After KKB, visitors can see the massive Sungai Selangor Dam along the road, followed by the entrance to Sungai Chilling waterfall. Sungai Chilling is a multi-tiered cascade that can be reached from a moderate jungle trail. Another popular waterfall within the area is Sungai Pertak, which can be accessed from a gravel path that starts from an Aborigine village. If coming from the Karak Highway, you'll also pass by a Chinese town called Bentong that's popular for its traditional food dishes.
