Jelai Highland Resort is an aging budget hotel at a quiet corner of Fraser's Hill, which can be reached by following the signboards to Allan's Water from the Pine Tree Road roundabout. Despite being old and badly in need of renovation, the rooms offer spacious accommodation, while the rates are affordable for their size. However, service is lacking due to a shortage of staff, making the hotel seem ominously quiet at times, but this is perfect for visitors that want an undisturbed atmosphere, accompanied only by natural sounds from the surrounding rainforests. For recreation, Allan's Water is only a stone's throw away, while a quick jungle trail (Abu Suradi) takes you to town.
