SUNGAI SELANGOR DAM near Kuala Kubu Bharu
We'll stop by this scenic dam for the beautiful countryside view and listen to a short narration about its history. An aborigine community (Orang Asli), that was displaced as a result of the dam's building, resides in a concrete village nearby which we'll pass through.
SUNGAI CHILLING (
Fridays to Sundays) or
SUNGAI PERTAK (
Mondays to Thursdays)
Enjoy a trek to reach the magnificent 75 meter multi-tiered waterfall that cascades down a series of rock pools and embankments. Expect river crossings, sporadic wildlife sightings and feeding shoals of gleaming
Tengas fish in the water; Chilling river is a sanctuary for these creatures.
THE GAP
After your adventure in the rainforest, it's time to explore the historical resthouse situated at the Gap. This charming colonial mansion is a little piece of England in Malaysia. The Gap is the starting point of the 8 km journey along a narrow single directional road to Fraser's Hill. At different times in the day, the traffic flow changes.
FRASER'S HILL
Here, it's free and easy - you can direct the drive around, visiting places (feel free to ask the guide for recommendations) such as the golf course, Jeriau waterfall and paddock, stopping randomly for photographs or pleasure. You can also hike on the jungle trails and get picked up at the end of the hike.
LATE EVENING Return to your hotel in Kuala Lumpur or Klang Valley.
