Fraser's Hill has a large collection of English homes left over from the colonial era, many which have become signature landmarks in this highland destination. Each bungalow is distinct in design and name, though most employ a construction from rough stone slabs to create patchy grey frames and anteriors, with sharp triangular roofs typical of English countryside cottages. A narrow chimney is an ubiquitous feature, while inside, a mock fireplace is usually standard. Several of these homes have been refurbished into boutique hotels, but most remain privately owned. Puncak Inn offers Cicely (Kuantan), Hollebekke (Chini), Cottage (Bentong) and Abu Suradi (Tioman) bungalows for family accommodation.
