Bungalows

Fraser's Hill has a large collection of heritage mansions and bungalows left behind by the British from colonial days. Each home has their signature design and name; several have become holidays chalets and hotels for visitor accommodation or rent, but most remain privately owned. While not promoted as tourist attractions, each bungalow is a peculiar piece of architecture that serves as landmark reminders of Malaysia's colonial period. A few of them have become exclusive luxury hotels with personal butlers and cooks. Almost all these bungalows have built-in fireplaces and old style chimneys. Visitors can admire all these homes with a simple stroll through the highlands.
